GEO Next Generation High School is unique to Baton Rouge in that our entire focus is getting students to and through college and/or career certifications. Traditional high school electives and higher level courses will be taken at the college level, not at the high school level, nor on our high school campus. Our school year schedule and daily schedule will mimic the schedule of Baton Rouge Community College and LSU. Qualified students may start taking college level courses as early as 9th grade.
Committed students will be able to earn at least an Associate Degree prior to graduating from our high school–free of charge to the family–fully transferable to a four year university in Louisiana and other participating universities across the country. GEO Next Generation High School will provide after school sports and enrichment programs such as basketball, volleyball, track, cross country, cheerleading, dance, theater and music and other activities depending on student interests.
