GEO Next Generation High School is unique to Baton Rouge in that our entire focus is getting students to and through college and/or career certifications. Traditional high school electives and higher level courses will be taken at the college level, not at the high school level, nor on our high school campus. Our school year schedule and daily schedule will mimic the schedule of Baton Rouge Community College and LSU. Qualified students may start taking college level courses as early as 9th grade.
Committed students will be able to earn at least an Associate Degree prior to graduating from our high school–free of charge to the family–fully transferable to a four year university in Louisiana and other participating universities across the country. GEO Next Generation High School will provide after school sports and enrichment programs such as basketball, volleyball, track, cross country, cheerleading, dance, theater and music and other activities depending on student interests.
Equal Employment Opportunity
Our school is committed to equal employment opportunity. We make equal employment opportunities available to all without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, disability, citizenship status, military status, genetic information, or any legally-protected category. This policy applies to applicants and employees and to all aspects of employment including hiring, promotion, demotion, treatment during employment, compensation, and termination of employment. Further, regardless of whether either sexual orientation or transgender status is a legally-protected status, we do not tolerate discrimination on the basis of a person’s sexual orientation.
